The purpose of the Recreation Ministry at Shearer Hills Baptist Church is for our members to be able to fellowship and encourage one another through the medium of sports. We strive to provide a fun environment for our children, youth, and adults to grow spiritually through the medium of sports and recreation.
Annual Golf Tournament
Each year we host our annual golf tournament for our members and guests. Teams of 4 are formed and compete in a scramble tournament. SilverHorn and the Quarry have hosted our tournament in the past years.
Basketball League & Camp
Starting in September we begin forming our church teams for children, youth, and adults. The league runs from the first of Decmeber to the end of February.
During Spring Break we will host our annual Spring Break Basketball Camp. For additional information click on the link below for the registration information.
Each summer we have a men's softball team that plays at Alamo City Christian Fellowship. This is a fun time of fellowship and just having a great time together. Sign-ups for this usually begin in April.
