Reby Lawler joined the Shearer Hills Ministerial staff in March of 2006. Her responsibilities are birth through sixth grade. Reby graduated from Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama with a degree in Music Education(1976) and then received her Master's degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Religious Education (1979). She has served as Minister of Childhood Education for over 25 years in Texas and Alabama.

Reby is married to Ross, a professor at the University of Texas Health Science Center of San Antonio. They enjoy traveling, sailing and reading. Reby especially loves singing and being a part of the choir.
